As previously reported, NBC executives chose to remove Foreign Correspondent, Ayman Mohyeldin, after he witnessed and provided a firsthand account of the murder of four Palestinian boys via Israeli airstrike on Wednesday.

Today, NBC News announced that they would reverse their decision, and would be sending Ayman Mohyeldin back into Gaza on Sunday.

NBC News Statement:

“Ayman Mohyeldin has done extraordinary reporting throughout the escalation of the conflict in Gaza, filing 25+ reports over the past 17 days, including his invaluable and well-documented contribution to the story on the deaths of the four Palestinian children on Wednesday. As with any news team in conflict zones, deployments are constantly reassessed. We’ve carefully considered our deployment decisions and we will be sending Ayman back to Gaza over the weekend. We look forward to his contributions in the coming days.

Just as he had turned to Social Media to give his account regarding the murder of the four Palestinian boys earlier this week, Ayman Mohyeldin did the same when breaking the news of his anticipated return to Gaza.

  • Joshua Barnard

Watch out for “friendly” fire Ayman. I’d be worried they are gonna have him killed in a war zone.

    • KenD

I wouldn’t put anything past the Isnaziraelis!

  • Sarge1retired

Oh! Please, when does an army set up missals in a city and fire into another country with out retaliation from the other side and when does an opposing force drop leaflets warning the population of their intent are all of you that blind. Israel didn’t want war but how many rocks have to come through your windows before you take action?

    • Kilroy238

Oh please. If they don’t want war why not return the land to the people they stole it from? Or at least stop demolishing homes of the people already there so more Israelis can move in.

      • Sarge1retired

Israel didn’t steal land, you don’t know history.
Egypt gave the Palestinians the Gaza strip but not Citizenship. the UN gave land to The Jews. The British divided the ottoman empire into the current countries, the Baathist party sided with Hitler and sent a battalion in to Eastern Europe to kill Jews. so don’t give me your sarcastic Oh Please unless you what the hell you’re talking about. You probably think you’re gong to get 72 virgins, well you are, all goats.

possession is 9/10ths of the law who was living there when it was just given away?

  • Kahuna

So I am Australian and we have a large group of us here who have converted to the Kahuna religion which started in Hawaii. Should we go to Hawaii and take back our promised land? We could go to Hawaii use force to steal the homes of the people there (mostly Americans not even native Hawaiis but whatever) and then anyone who attacks our intent to return to our religious homeland we will call them anti-hawaiin.
