Truth In Media questioned 2 years ago why the U.S. and our allies were financing ISIS in Iraq and arming so-called “moderate rebels” in Syria.

Reports have confirmed that US Intelligence knew in 2012 that backing Syrian rebels would result in an ISIS victory.

A newly declassified DIA document from 2012 confirms that arming the anti-Assad rebel forces and Islamist groups would lead to the emergence of ISIS.

According to award winning journalist Dr. Nafeez Ahmed, “the secret Pentagon document provides extraordinary confirmation that the US-led coalition currently fighting ISIS, had three years ago welcomed the emergence of an extremist ‘Salafist Principality’ in the region as a way to undermine Assad.”

Below is an excerpt from the DIA report:

… there is the possibility of establishing a declared or undeclared Salafist Principality in eastern Syria (Hasaka and Der Zor), and this is exactly what the supporting powers to the opposition want, in order to isolate the Syrian regime, which is considered the strategic depth of the Shia expansion (Iraq and Iran).

War hawks like Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) have lobbied the White House to arm “moderate rebels,” but these moderate rebel groups have reportedly joined with ISIS.

As reported on the LevantReport.com, the above video entitled “US Key Man in Syria Worked Closely with ISIL and Jabhat al Nusra,” which shows raw reporting footage compiled by “Eretz Zen” channel (YouTube), is the clearest video evidence to date documenting the role of the United States in creating and sustaining ISIS on the Syrian battlefield.

Last year, Vice President Joe Biden slipped up and admitted (start at 1:30:00) that there were no “moderate rebels” and had to later apologize for stating “the biggest problems are our allies.” He admitted that Saudi Arabia and Gulf states were funding ISIS to oust Assad.

Recently on the Scott Horton show, Brad Hoff reminded listeners that the former U.S. Ambassador to Syria, Robert Ford, admitted to an Al-Monitor journalist that he knew the U.S. backed rebels fought with ISIS on front lines.

The mainstream media has ignored and refused to report on the important DIA section regarding the Syrian proxy war led by the U.S. and its allies.

TruthInMedia’s Joshua Cook recently interviewed former Senator Bob Graham about the 28 pages and the House of Saud being the main support of ISIS and international terrorism.

If Biden is correct and the Gulf states are funding ISIS, why is the U.S. not holding them accountable?

In an exclusive interview, TruthInMedia’s Joshua Cook interviewed Congressman Mark Sanford regarding U.S. foreign policy. Cook asked Congressman Sanford about his experience reading the classified 28 pages in the 9/11 report.

Sanford told Cook, “It cements my belief in the importance of government being transparent about what they do and why they do it.”

“I think that for people to trust their government, they may agree or may disagree with the decision, but they want to know the why, and too often people are told just trust us, it’s not appropriate or you don’t have the capacity to know – that’s just not true, said Sanford.

“Open and free governments are built upon transparency so that people can look under the hood, and say I agree or I disagree, and consequently hold people accountable, and when things are hidden people can’t do that…These kind of things for me reinforce my belief in the importance of freedom resting on openness and transparency in the way the government conducts its business.”

Listen to Ron Paul’s perspective on the newly declassified report.

Ben Swann presents a clear and damning report on how the US actions in Iraq and Syria led to the rise of ISIS. Watch Ben Swann’s ground breaking report on ISIS that the mainstream media refuses to report.

    Not at all surprising,

  • Rich Helm

This article would have more credibility if someone other than anti-war nut-jobs were used. The claim that Bush created a “power vacuum” is nonsense. The war was won and we just needed to STAY in Iraq and stabilize it. Yes that could mean being there for decades. But OBAMA had votes to pander for in an up coming election. It was OBAMA, NOT Bush removing Saddam from power, who created the Middle East mess from Syria to Iraq. And now, rather than staying to maintain a growing peace, we will being fight the IS that OBAMA created with decades of fighting.
This is mess you get when you elect a Leftist president who cares about his power, the power of his party and his leftist agenda MORE than the safety and security of America. Way to go Obama voters & supporters.

Leftism is America’s (& the world’s) deadly progressive cancer.

Pointing this out to some folks nearly always gets ignored. It would be laughable if it was not so absurd.

The hawks blame Obama for pulling out of Iraq to early, and the left praises Obama for ‘finally’ pulling the troops out. All the while Bush should get the credit from both camps.

you, on the other hand, not so much.

    • Rich Helm

The fact is that by the end of Bush’s tenure, the war had been WON.

Bush bequeathed to Obama a success. By whose measure? By Obama’s. As he told the troops at Fort Bragg on Dec. 14, 2011, “We are leaving behind a sovereign, stable, and self-reliant Iraq, with a
representative government that was elected by its people.” This was, said the president, a “moment of success.”

Which Obama proceeded to fully squander.

With the 2012 election approaching, he chose to liquidate our military presence in Iraq. We didn’t just withdraw our forces. We abandoned, destroyed or turned over our equipment, stores, installations and bases. [This all went into the hands of our enemy. Whose side is Obama on??]

The Obama administration’s unilateral pullout created a VACUUM for the entry of the worst of the worst.

All while remembering that when the Obama administration negotiated with the Iraqi government the extension of the agreement that the bush administration penned with the Iraqi government, the Iraqis refused to grant our troops immunity from being persecuted under Iraqi law (the military and us court system handles wartime offenses committed by military members) and as a result the agreement was never extended. Forget the fact that the Iraqis wanted us out in the first place.

        • Rich Helm

As if Obama “wanted” it extended, which he did NOT. He could have gotten the extension if he truly wanted it but he had a campaign promise to keep to pacify his far left comrades, no matter if he undid our victory and what damage he did to the Middle East.
It’s not like it’s the first time Leftist Democrats turned victory into defeat. They did it to the S. Vietnamese when they broke our promise to them, turned our back and handed them over to the communist animals of N. Vietnam. Democrats are a disgrace.

          • Rich Helm

Of course your comment does not address the facts I presented at all but then you inhumane heathen Leftarians don’t give about human life or freedom of others, nothing but self-centered narcissists.

BTW, America was committed to aiding Vietnam by the SEATO treaty.
And with The Gulf of Tonkin Resolution CONGRESS gave U.S. President Lyndon B. Johnson authorization for the use of conventional military force in Southeast Asia.

But you Leftarians would be happy letting communism or Islamism take over the world and them consider fighting when it is at its more powerful and targeting us. Fools.

          • Skully69er

You are so stupid and uninformed … it’s actually funny! The Gulf of Tonkin attack was fabricated. It never happenned! The NSA was forced to release documents regarding the incident back in 2005 and they proved that it was completely made up! Just like Bush lied about WMDs to get us into Iraq, LBJ lied about the Gulf of Tonkin to get us into Vietnam! This has been pretty much common knowledge for the last decade…you can look it up yourself if you can get someone to show you how to use Google.

Should America be the world’s policeman? YES!! Because when the US steps back EVIL happily steps up to fill the void and evil is REAL.
We have to deal with real evil, not hide, let it get stronger and fantasize that it will leave us alone.

There are these things called treaties where we help our allies. America was bound to help Vietnam by SEATO.
CONGRESS gave U.S. President Lyndon B. Johnson
authorization, for the use of conventional’ military force in Southeast Asia.
But I’m sure you are just fine with communists or Islamist taking over the world, growing very powerful and dreaming happy fantasies that we will be left alone.

          • CedarRapids

‘As if Obama “wanted” it extended, which he did NOT. He could have gotten the extension if he truly wanted it ‘ – It wasnt up to him, the Iraq government couldnt convince its allies to go along with the idea of immunity. How was Obama supposed to get an extension in that case?

          • Rich Helm

Maliki offered immunity via executive order but Obama did NOT want an extension, he wanted cover for getting out.
            ——————
Obama insisted upon an parliamentary vote of immunity for US troops. This placed members of parliament in the uncomfortable position of having to support two politically charged issues: US troop presence and immunity of US troops from Iraqi courts. Maliki, in a singular act of political courage, offered immunity via executive order. This is the same arrangement US military forces in Iraq today are operating under. Obama insisted on a parliamentary vote. And, once he’d insisted on the parliamentary vote, he refused to work to get the votes needed to pass it.

In short, Obama used the parliamentary vote as an escape hatch. He wanted out of Iraq and by setting a nearly impossible condition on future US military presence he made withdrawal inevitable.

        ————————————
        Libya is a disaster.
Whose disaster? Hillary Clinton’s. It was Hillary who, more than anyone else, pushed to overthrow Moammar Qaddafi. Why? No compelling reason. Qaddafi had been tame ever since the Iraq war, which he interpreted as a threat to his rule. Almost incredibly, Clinton and her cohorts in NATO overthrew Qaddafi (who was subsequently murdered by a mob) without having a plan for what would come next.
Who says Hillary Clinton is responsible for the Libya fiasco? She does. In fact, at one point she was poised to claim Libya as the notable accomplishment of her term as Secretary of State.

So… then Iraq was NOT “won.”

        • Rich Helm

It WAS won, Obama withdrew and turned victory into defeat. It’s what Democrats do.

      • CedarRapids

So we left Iraq in 2011 and handed over what was left to the iraqis (note, not handed to enemies as you like to claim) then 3 years later its apparently Obama’s fault that the Iraq army turned and ran when ISIS attacked? Just out of interest, how many years after the US left have to pass before you expect the country that said ‘go’ to take responsibility for themselves?
Not to mention that Obama stuck to the Bush withdrawal timetable, and it was because members of Iraq’s goverment said no to troop immunity that he was unable to get an extension to that.

        • Rich Helm

Obama was NOT stuck to Bush’s withdrawal timetable, he used it as an excuse to get out.

          • CedarRapids

That isnt what the comment was saying. The article said ‘At one meeting, Maliki said that he was willing to sign an executive agreement granting the soldiers permission to stay, if he didn’t have to persuade the parliament to accept immunity.’
That was ‘If he didnt have to persuade’ not ‘if he couldnt’ or ‘was unable to’ but ‘if he didnt have to’.
In other words….if he didnt need to convince the parliament to give immunity, he would sign an executive order saying they could stay.
That is totally different from what the redstate article claims maliki said by a long shot.

          • Rich Helm

Maliki did not get any help from Obama on how to “sell” the parliament on accepting immunity, Because Obama did NOT want to sell them. He WANTED an excuse to get out and someone else to point his finger at to place blame.
Come on, it is obvious and well predicted that Iraq would fall to Islamic attack if America left. And America could have made the argument if we had a president who cared about it more than Obama cared about pleasing his far-left supporters. Pure pathetic leftist politics created the stage for a Middle East on fire. More children raped and sold into sex slavery, women raped & abused, Christians slaughtered, etc. The rise of Islamism is Obama’s miserable legacy that the lying leftist media will continue to cover up.
            —————————–
“We didn’t know where the President was. Maliki kept saying, ‘I don’t know what I have to sell.’ ” At one meeting, Maliki said that he was willing to sign an executive agreement granting the soldiers permission to stay, if he didn’t have to persuade the parliament to accept immunity. The Obama Administration quickly rejected the idea. “The American attitude was: Let’s get out of here as quickly as possible,” Sami al-Askari, the Iraqi member of parliament, said.

          • CedarRapids

What was there to sell? Obama wanted immunity for the troops, that was it, pure and simple, and Maliki’s coalition partners refused to give it. Not sure what you think Obama could have done to ‘sell’ that, or why you think it was his responsibility to provide Maliki with that in the first place.

Again I will point out that the US left in 2011, and it was Iraq that was saying we dont need or want you. Iraq had 3 years of self determination before any ISIS threat came knocking at their door. and the Iraq army turned and ran.

          • Rich Helm

Seriously??? Have you seen Iraq these days?!?!? This was NOT a surprise, it was predicted by many and it didn’t take a genius to figure it out.
It would not have been hard to sell them on protecting their asses if we had a president who wanted to stay.
FACT is Obama WANTED to get out no matter the cost & loss.

          • CedarRapids

THESE days. Correct. 3 years ago ISIS wasnt even a blip on anyone’s radar.
And you really think the US and Iraq didn’t discuss future possible threats and whether they would be ready?

          • Rich Helm

It’s quite clear that Maliki wanted us to stay. Which would have happened had Obama made the effort, he purposefully did not.
ISIS was not a blip but Islam was and it became ISIS because Obama withdrew. The Middle East is clearly Obama’s mess and it didn’t have to be this way.

          • CedarRapids

Yes Maliki wanted the US to stay, will not argue with you there, but he was leader of a coalition government and the leaders of the other parties in his coalition did not want the troops to stay and it was those people that Maliki could not convince. Maliki did not have the power alone to make that decision and if he had tried then he would have lost support of his partners and almost certainly forced an new election that he might not have won.

‘ISIS was not a blip but Islam was and it became ISIS because Obama withdrew.’ – sorry? islam became isis? you sure you meant to put that? I mean iraq itself is an islamic country so of course islam existed.

          • Rich Helm

Give me a break, by Islam I meant radical Islam or Islamism.
You do know that IS stands for Islamic State. Right??

Fact is, Obama did NOT want to stay which is why he put little to no effort into it.
He put his party & political agenda ahead of all else as Leftist typically do.

          • CedarRapids

Again I ask, you really think the US and Iraq didn’t discuss future possible threats?

‘He put his party & political agenda ahead of all else as Leftist typically do.’ – blah blah blah, only leftists do that, leftists do this, no one else does and so on. Yeah we get it, you don’t like ‘leftists’ and like to spout crap about them.

          • Rich Helm

BTW, Bush fully expected that the timetable would be renegotiated but he didn’t expect that your buddy Obama would be on our enemy’s side.

          • CedarRapids

‘I don’t need to spout crap about Leftism,’ – correct, you dont need to, you just choose to do so.

‘BTW, Bush fully expected that the timetable would be renegotiated’ – which Obama tried to do. All they needed to do was agree to the same immunity that the existing agreement had, but they refused to do it. If they had come back and said ‘ok, immunity’ then Obama would have extended it, but that doesnt work with your narrative does it?

          • Rich Helm

Your comrade Obama hasn’t done a damn thing that is good for America or the world because Leftism ruins everything it touches. So I don’t need to “spout crap” it spews crap and worse.

Agreed. Obama has done nothing good for America or the world.

        • gringo_1

Very interesting comment.. So how did they become your enemies in the first place ?American foreign policy doesn’t seem to be making any real friends at all ..just bought and pad for puppets to help do its dirty work.. Does it really matter who is in the white house ? all presidents are bought and paid for .they are are just there to keep the dollar alive by hook or by crook ,massacre or other crimes against humanity and all thanks to having the worlds dumbest citizens who haven’t a god damn clue that they are paying for it all …

          • g.johnon

awww gringo, we are not really all that dumb, just misinformed and mal-educated.

      • Are you agreeing or disagreeing with Rich Helm?

        • Karolyn

Part yes and part no. Bush wanted the war in Iraq and the propaganda stating “weapons of mass destruction” gave him his excuse. In the first place, IF the POTUS’s in America listened to the founding fathers we should not be in any war unless it’s in the defense of America! The wars in the Middle East have been going on forever and it is not our business to be in them but our government thinks it’s supposed to police the world. All they really want to do is control everyone everywhere. We are not overturning duly elected Presidents, regardless of how ruthless they are, of other countries for that countries good; we are putting in worse dictators that will bow down and do America’s bidding. Our government should be disbanded.

          • Rich Helm

Nonsense. Bush did NOT want the war in Iraq. It was FORCED upon him. Apparently you have forgotten 9/11!! when America was ATTACKED.
WMDs were NOT propaganda (that’s a leftist lie). Most of the world’s leaders believed Saddam had WMD and WMDs were NOT the ONLY reason. There was a long list.

Bob Woodward throws cold water on the left’s claim that Bush lied the nation into war with Iraq.

Bush Didn’t Lie – So why did his administration sit on the evidence of Saddam Hussein’s WMDs?

… the founding fathers we should not be in any war unless it’s in the defense of America! – MYTH.
            G. Washington advised staying out of war for about 20 years, so America (then a young country) had time to grow stronger. Unlike leftists of today, they believed in evil and fighting it, not waiting for it to grow stronger and then come to our shores.

          • CedarRapids

‘Bush did NOT want the war in Iraq. It was FORCED upon him. Apparently you have forgotten 9/11!! when America was ATTACKED.’ – Which had what to do with iraq?

          • Rich Helm
          • CedarRapids

And that article doesnt say anything about Iraq having anything to do with 9/11, so why bring it up when claiming the iraq war was forced on Bush?

          • g.johnon

the citations of both us news and the national review pretty much show us where your objectivity went.

          • Karolyn

RickHelm I believe you are a troll and not worth my time responding to. If you listened and read and research enough you would know more truth than fiction. It’s people like you that is what is wrong with America.

      • g.johnon

that is exactly true. just as it would be if said about either one of the bushes or Clinton.

    • r3VOLution is not republican

      Which “leftism?” Democrat or Republican?

      • Rich Helm

Or Libertarian? Or as I call it Leftarian.

While the Repub Party is stained what RINOS. Dems are completely controlled by far left totalitarians with zero tolerance for descent in the ranks.

        • g.johnon

stained with rinos?! there is not a single true republican in the party that falsely calls itself “republican”. and that, I am willing to bet, includes yourself.

    • Daimyo21

So America overthrowing a democratically elected leader (Mohammad Mosaddegh) in Iran in the 1950’s is not proof enough that this has been going on for a while..? We installed a dictator and there was blowback. We were bombing in the middle east for over a decade before 9/11.

We trained Al-Qaeda, made Saddam our puppet and then said Iraq had weapons of mass destruction(we knew because we gave him the weapons/gas). We later found that Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11 and no weapons of mass destruction found.

In order to continue the growth of DHS, TSA, government surveillance, and loss of civil liberties, we needed a US trained boogey man (Osama). Now the latest boogey man is ISIS. Funded 2 million a day by banks that we didn’t even bother sanctioning yet we sanction anything that moves, including Iran.

Over 50% of Americans didnt vote last election. Its because we are no longer being represented. Each president is a puppet of the globalist elite. Crony capitalism / transnational corporations have taken over the countries of the world.

You have a preconceived notion of how the world runs.. but who gave you that and or where did you look for it? 6 Conglomerates own 95% of all American Media today. Truth in media is crowd-funded by the people and has 0 special interest because they are not a corporation or conglomerate.

Anyways, your mind is made up. Renew the patriot act, renew the NDAA, renew any bill that promises security over liberty, and you shall receive neither.

      • Frank Furillo

The Un-“Patriotic Act” needs be repealed. Violation of the Constitution is indefensible in ANY situation. The NSA, CIA, DHS, and FBI need to be reeled in BEFORE all real US Patriots are reclassified as “domestic terrorists.” To counteract terrorism, which is currently an exclusive Muslim initiative, whenever an airliner is downed or a suicide bomber goes off or a mass killing is executed (like 9-11, Ft Hood or Boston), or attempted (like Shoe Bomber, Texas), a city in ANY Middle Eastern country should be annihilated WITHOUT WARNING using B-52s with Napalm burning everything and everyone in it. Neutron bombs would be preferable to maintain the infrastructure. But too politically incorrect. If that doesn’t stop the terrorism, go directly to the sources and remove Tehran, Riyadh, all of Qatar, etc. If that doesn’t sink in, nukes will be necessary to take out entire countries. Disband the TSA, DHS. They are pacifiers and scapegoats doing nothing to prevent attacks on this country.

        • Daimyo21

That sounds like the mentality of someone who enjoys perpetual war. Eye for an eye til the whole world is blind..

Once we see that terrorism is nothing more than a political tactic, propped up to be this danger lingering around every corner. We will never be free. One day when we look back at this, we will be reminded of another lesson. The modern lesson won’t be an oppressive, tyrannical government(we already went through that), but an uninformed, conditioned, and most importantly: Divided populace.

The answer is: we are all humans, united under this one world in which we share this one life with. We all share flaws of bigotry, hate, violence etc.. We all possess love, emotion, and empathy. When 85 globalists have more money and power than 3.5 billion of the poorest(half the world), there is a real problem with that. This is not a rich vs poor. Rich people can be people with a net-worth of a few million. We are talking about global power. Power that is banned in most countries but has moved onto 3rd world countries where there laws and politicians can be bought for cheap.

Humanity > the illusion of freedom.

          • Frank Furillo

Not at all the mentality of someone who enjoys perpetual war. Rather someone who believes that evil cannot be placated and must be eliminated to have a lasting peace. The Muslims declared their new offensive in Munich at the Olympic Games. It has gotten worse and worse, year by year, decade by decade. It is now time to put an end to their barbarism. They do no seek justice. They do not seek freedom. Their beliefs are antithetical to ours and we cannot coexist with them any more than we could coexist with rabid dogs or the plague.

The Islamic faith is in and of itself a fraud on the world. It has always been comprised of vermin. Their patron saint is Mohammed. His nickname was “The Butcher.” Islam has always been the religion of hatred, bigotry, intolerance, violence and death to all who do not follow it. Did Globalists exist in 600AD-1000AD? I think not. And the Muslim slaughter of non-Muslims went virtually unchecked in that period until a Pope of the Catholic Church decreed that non-Muslims should fight back (and the Christian Crusades were born). While they drove the scourge into the hinterlands of Mesopotamia, they did not finish off every last one of them and the virus that is Islam was allowed to ferment and regrow slowly but surely until it metastasized once again into the cancer it is today.

I believe you are confusing two very different things: globalists who want to control the world and its riches and Muslims want non-Muslims dead in short order. Muslims say that they will win their current crusade against non-Muslims because “you value life while we value death.” I just want to help them achieve what they value.

And assuming we finally get pissed off enough to deal with them in a decisive, unrelenting, precise and complete manner, reducing their population to a fraction of what it is today, then and only then should we address the globalist’s control and influence. No doubt that much power centralized in the hands of a very few is a threat to supposedly sovereign peoples all over the world.

But those who are an imminent threat to breathing are definitely a priority.

          • Daimyo21

The problem with your rhetoric is that the globalist(conglomerate media)/our government(mainly military industrial complex) is saying the same thing and push for things like the Patriot Act and NDAA in the name of those “threats”.

You’re whole comment sounds like a Fox news excerpt.

And yes, globalist did exist in the AD days. Did the hunger for power and dominance over a populace just not exist? Politicians and representatives weren’t corruptible?

Just because the scope is much bigger today because of technology doesnt take from the bigger picture that an elite few want to rule and control a more empathetic, moral majority.

How did you find Truth In Media? Do you understand why this website exists? How 95% of all American Media is owned by 6 conglomerates and are part of this much bigger problem?

          • Frank Furillo

I was Fox News before there was a Fox News. I have always been an anti-establishment type. And Fox News wouldn’t say even 10% of what I’ve said. Nor do they believe in fighting an enemy with rare exception. They are vanilla.

The problem with your rhetoric is that it doesn’t give a single solution to thwart those who are trying to kill us. You can bitch and moan about the Globalists while the Muslims slit your throat. All I’m saying is that we need to deal with imminent threats to our lives before anything else. Why is that so offensive and troubling for you to understand?

The Un-Patriot Act and any other action by the government that obfuscates Constitutional protections in the name of trading freedom and liberty for security needs be eliminated. And those who support these unconstitutional measures, edicts and/or laws need be impeached and/or arrested for treason. Any obfuscation of the Constitution by any government representative(s) should be defined as a treasonous act.

        • g.johnon

frank, you are getting there, but you still have a ways to go. for one thing, terrorism is the exclusive initiative of elitist one worlders. follow the money, stop being distracted by the actors and start following the producers and directors.
to remove both personal and national sovereignty from the map is their goal. the oldest ambition of all is once again at play here. the ambition to rule the world. you are not going to stop it at the polls, or by bombing the crap out of iran. there remains only one way, left to us. and we are just beginning to work up the appetite and resolve for what needs to be done.
what needs to be done is justice.

Everybody that is a fan of this kind of theory crafting is going to blow up on me but oh well. When I know first hand that the information in this is false, because I have seen it with my own two eyes, I have to sit back and wonder why would somebody want to fabricate a story like this. Maybe they enjoy feeding the anti-military/anti-government/anti-American rhetoric, or perhaps they just like to see who they can sway to their own interpretation of world affairs. I understand the frustration of our circumstances, I understand them much more than so many of you. I get the fact that nobody on this site will take any of what I am typing up to heart, but I hope that not everybody here is so eager to throw imaginary spears at our country. There are enough problems in America to choose from, instead of generating false accusations. Take care everybody. I mean no ill will.

Leftism, it’s destructive every where and with everything it touches.
    ——————————–
    Disasters at Home and Abroad
“Things are starting to collapse, abroad and at home. We all sense it, even as we bicker over who caused it and why.
“Whatever liberalism is, it is not working. Our country’s policies overseas are falling apart, while at home our society stagnates and turns tribal — with a growing and embittered underclass, a shrinking and angry middle class, and a plutocratic and apartheid elite who, as absolution for their privilege, are desperate to praise in the abstract what they so studiously avoid in the concrete.”

    http://victorhanson.com/wordpress/?p=8437

    • CedarRapids

An underclass and elite is created by capitalism, not liberalism.

      • g.johnon

by both cedarrapids, and neoconservatism as well.

      • Rich Helm

Wrong, capitalism is the GREATEST cure for poverty and raising people up. Stop believe leftist lies. Liberalism/leftist impoverishes people and keeps them down, enslaving them with “entitlements” because Leftism is ONLY about power to control everything and everyone.
It’s Obama who is in bed with big insurance and big banks passing legislation that makes them rich while crushing small business under tons of legalize they can’t afford.
America became the world’s most prosperous and greatest super power in historically record time because of capitalism.
BTW, so-called crony-capitalism is a leftist term to make capitalism look bad. It is actually gov’t/corporate-cronyism which is terrible and is NOT capitalism. It is anti-capitalism.

Liberalism/leftist is America’s deadly progressive cancer.

        • CedarRapids

The irony of you talking about leftist lies when you spout that crap about entitlements.

          • Rich Helm

Since you make no sense, I had no idea what you are talking about but Demonrats use unconstitutional welfare (which they dishonestly call entitlements) to enslave people and to buy their votes.

        • jantman

Crony capitalism/corporatism is essentially fascism or state capitalism. This is why fiscal conservatives are always being decried as fascistic. Communism and fascism aren’t synonymous either, but both are definitely rooted in a collectivist “greater good” worldview.

          • Rich Helm

No Democrat Leftism is fascism. Don’t speak out against Demonrats if you are a minority or the fascist Demonrats will viciously attack. NO freedom of speech on Leftist controlled universities nor freedom of thought.

        • jantman

Crony capitalism is not a ‘leftist’ term. Crony capitalism is just as it says… crony, as in fraudulent. It flaunts itself as capitalism, though it is not. ‘Leftists’ simply use just use the term capitalism as though it means corporatism or fascism.

          • Rich Helm

‘Leftists’ simply use just use the term capitalism as though it means corporatism or fascism.”
Exactly, as I said to dishonestly make capitalism look bad. It is actually gov’t/corporate-cronyism because they don’t want to make gov’t look bad, as if it’s not involved.

          • jantman

I understand what you are saying. I’ve just never heard a socialist use the term ‘crony capitalism’.

          • Rich Helm

Leftist Progressive Democrats use the term ‘crony capitalism’ all the time. Progressive is just another term for big gov’t socialist. Socialists took over the Democrat Party in the 60s. They seek control of everything. Obama is currently trying to take control of every puddle of water. They unconstitutionally confiscate thousands of acres of land to control our resources. Obama’s army of bureaucracies are passing “laws” (which Congress is supposed to do) the encroach & control into most everything we do & use. Power to control is the only thing they care about and they are forcing a mass illegally immigration to corrupt the elections so they always win. Democrats don’t give a damn about your freedom, our Constitution or America, only control of it & you.

          • jantman

Geez… what I’m saying is that I hear socialists speak of capitalism as if it were a cardinal sin. I said the word “CRONY” used in conjunction with the word capitalism (meaning the combined term ‘crony capitalism’) is not used by socialists. Please provide me with some quotes where the “left” (progressives, socialists, democrats, etc.) actually use the combined term “crony capitalism” rather than just “capitalism” when speaking ill of it.

The ‘left’ does not need to use the word crony because they already view capitalism as evil. Understand what I am saying?

          • Rich Helm

Who are you talking of when you say socialists? Because Democrats/Leftists use it all the time, THEY created the term!!!
Do you know what “crony-capitalism” refers to?? It means corporations who lobby/buy favor from gov’t to benefit themselves or hurt their competition. Which is a corruption of the free market & capitalism. Which is why I said it is really gov’t/corp.-cronyism.
Democrats created the term to denounce capitalism even more because they are anti-capitalism because it offers freedom and prosperity and Leftist Dem are big-gov’t tyrannists who WANT dependency because it gives them CONTROL – their primary goal. ObamaCare, Social Security, Dept of Education, global warming, they are ALL about control.
Google crony-capitalism and democrat and you’ll get plenty of examples of them using the term.

          • Rich Helm

Capitalism is best economic system as it drive businesses to compete and in doing so to please the customer and in doing that it raises quality and reduces price.

“The pursuit of profits by PLEASING one’s fellow man in a cost-efficient manner is praiseworthy but it should NOT be confused with crony capitalism. Free market capitalism is unforgiving. In order to earn a profit and stay in business, producers MUST PLEASE CUSTOMERS and wisely use resources to do so. If they fail to do so, they face losses or bankruptcy.” – Walter E. Williams, economist

      • Rich Helm

Milton Friedman explains how capitalism is a more effective approach to the alleviation of poverty than is socialism/leftism:
        http://www.thefederalistpapers.org/video-2/mitlon-friedman-the-cure-for-poverty

      • jantman

Capitalism and liberalism are not opposites and describe different things. Capitalism is an economic ideology, whereas liberalism is a political philosophy.

Also, liberalism and conservatism are subjective terminologies. What many call constitutional conservatism in the U.S. formed its roots from 18th and 19th century liberal political philosophy.

        • Rich Helm

True, but since the 60s the Democrat Party is NOT truly “liberal” (pro-liberty)it is Leftist, i.e. BIG controlling gov’t.
And it is anti the capitalism economic system because leftism/big-gov’t is anti-personal freedom. Leftism is all about control, i.e. tyranny. Control the economy and make people dependent upon gov’t and you control the people – THAT is the Democrat Party.

    • g.johnon

you got it half right again rich. leftism is for sick clowns. but now you need to get right about neoconservatism and phony republicanism or you are not going to ever have true meaning in your life, or in your narrative.

      • Rich Helm

I’m a conservative who believes in very limited gov’t and fighting evil before it reaches our shores because in will eventually and did on 9/11. Leftism is destructive in either party and every where it is implemented, including the Libertarian Party.

I can comprehend why an uneducated, and possibly retarded, little boy(singing) still believes airliners hit the WTC. But for an educated American adult to still believe such a HOAX, just goes to show how dumb my fellow countrymen really are.
Aluminum cannot penetrate a larger piece of rigid structural steel at subsonic speed!
It’s a PHYSICAL IMPOSSIBILITY, stop being such a hayseed Ben Swan.

    • Joltin Joe

But it punched through 4 (? ) rings of the newly re-enforced pentagon too. Nice round hole. 2, 8 ton titanium engines vaporized as well. Official story is officially B Shite

    • jantman

So you’re saying that it is unbelievable that planes could have struck the WTC while being brought down by controlled demolition?

      • Math & Physics

I am saying it’s physically impossible for an aluminum projectile (solid or hollow) to fully penetrate a larger piece of rigid structural steel at subsonic speed.
It’s the equivalent of believing David Copperfield moved the Statue of Liberty from it’s pedestal.
Look at the impact of the ESB on July of 45′, the airframe fell to the street. And that is stone, which has negligible tensile strength <1Ksi, the very property that prevents penetration.

        • CedarRapids

if only the building had weak areas, like walls that had windows or something, or that the airplane was a large moving object that had significant force behind it. You know, something using math and physics.

          • Math & Physics

Shear mod of Aluminum 25Gpa, basic steel 70Gpa. Those “walls” were structural steel box columns, search mod of inertia.

          • jantman

To paraphrase, you said “only an idiot would believe planes HIT the WTC.” Planes can hit buildings without demolishing them. Did planes actually hit the WTC?

          • jantman

To be clear, I’m not arguing against the physics at all. I am simply pointing out that, twice now, you’ve implied that planes did not HIT the WTC because they cannot physically DEMOLISH it.

          • Math & Physics

Incorrect, I said planes did not hit the WTC b/c full penetration of structural steel by an aluminum projectile at subsonic speed is not physically possible. Even the B-25 airframe that hit the Empire St bld in 45′, fell to the street unassisted. Wingspan of a B-25 65′, hole in the side of the ESB 18’x20′. And that is a stone facade, which has negligible tensile strength 85Ksi tensile, the very property that prevents penetration.

          • jantman

Statistics aside, you’re not making any sense. If I throw a paper airplane at my wall, regardless of the lack of penetration, the airplane still HIT the wall. Emphasis on HIT.
Penetration is not synonymous wth hit.

          • Math & Physics

So you believe bigfoot exist b/c he is on video, David Copperfield moved the statue of liberty?
Are you scared of vampires and werewolves as well?
You are basing your opinion on a hoax, or cartoon physics.
I’ve cited more than one example, why don’t you cite something more rational than a child’s toy.

          • jantman

So if there were absolutely no planes at all, why use physics at all to explain penetration, subsonic speed…. etc? Just explain why the videos of planes are fake.

I’m not trying to say that planes brought the buildings down, or even penetrated the buildings.

You’ve cited NO examples explaining why planes could not have hit the building. You sited examples that have nothing to do with hoax videos, only examples to explain why aluminum planes cannot penetrate steel.

The child’s toy example was akin to your example regarding the physics, which I agree with.

What I am saying is that planes DID hit the buildings, but that it is possible that a controlled explosion was detonated at the same location and at the same time as plane upon impact. Or that the plane had explosives at the nose of the plane capable of blowing a hole through the building upon impact.

How was the mirage of planes hitting the tower fulfilled? This is a serious question, since this is what you were trying to explain through a physics lesson.

          • Math & Physics

All subjective, the laws of physics are not subjective. No evidence of any aircraft, timing of N tower communication being down is a dead giveaway.

    • CedarRapids

Wait, you are trying to claim that no airplanes hit the WTC at all? I mean if we are talking about dumb here then by all means keep talking for all the world to see an example.

      • Math & Physics

Show an example of Aluminum cutting through a larger piece of rigid structural steel at subsonic speed. Physics is 100% REPEATABLE.

The Muslim extremists have attacked America, France, Spain, and most all other western/free non-muslim countries.

I’m tired of America sending our men and women to fight for the end of this, and for a free world. I think we should band together with the rest of the free world and end this via WWIII. Combined we are strong enough to take them on and end it within a year. But if we sit back and let them expand, and keep getting our technology and weapons, this will still go to WWIII at some point down the road, only they will be much better trained and equipped to fight back.

These are not “normal” thinking and acting people. They are only controlled when ruled by extremist dictators who they fear. We’ve removed the dictators trying to create greater opportunity for the people, but those people only go out of control when no dictator is in site.

One of their proclaimed profits had a crush on a 6 year old girl, and so said the Allah commanded that men should marry girls at the age of 6, but not engage in intercouse until after their first menses (12? 14? still pretty young…) So it’s been a long engaged in practice – there is no Pope or other high ranking person/group within the Muslim religion so they can pretty well do what they want… I don’t think “Allah” wants anyone doing any of the extremist stuff they are doing… But no one is at the top to discredit the extremists.

But those followers will twist and turn anything into still being somehow holy:

      Prophets

    • Frank Furillo

If Allah doesn’t want or condone violence, why does the Koran advocate, encourage and promise young virgins as a reward for such? The “religion of peace” is a lie. Their #1 Prophet is Mohammed… his nickname is “the Butcher.”

So Obama created ISIS? Four years after Bush left office? Can’t wait to hear the liberal spin on this one.

    • Being human

Both parties are controlled by similar interests. When it comes to war, there’s not much difference between Democrats and Republicans. Sure, President Obama had a hand in creating ISIS, but the United States also had a hand in creating Al-Qaeda. Once ISIS is “defeated”, there will be another terrorist threat.

  • Eggmunkee

Why did NATO fund and support right-wing terrorists in Europe that staged terror operations to be blamed on Communists? Called Operation Gladio – Sibel Edmonds had done journalistic work on this and its continuation into today’s Islamic terror version of the same operation. FBI has a file on this information called “Gladio B,” which is connected to Gulen network setting up mosques and madrasas in future conflict areas to create the troops of this proxy army of NATO. Don’t get bogged down in shallow political squabbling puddles when there’s a much deeper sea of context. These long term plans obviously continue from administration to administration. I recommend Boiling Frogs Post site.

why don’t we just rain nukes down on the whole damn middle east and end this happy horseshit once and for all?

      • ar15acog

Psycho. You want to murder children? You area horrible human being. Jesus would be ashamed of you.

        • g.johnon

your word for the day is “sarcasm”. look it up, get to know it. use it in a sentence. maybe someday you mom will stop sewing your socks to the cuffs of your pants.

        • Frank Furillo

The Muslim “children” are already lost. They have been proudly and unabashedly brainwashed by their Muslim parents to believe all Infidels are pigs only worthy of slaughter by the time they are 3 years old. The “children” of Islam are not the future of civilization. They are the scourge of civilization; the ones who will continue the Islamic Crusade that began in Munich, 1972.

When we bombed Dresden, Berlin, Tokyo, Hiroshima and Nagasaki, children were killed. When the Germans bombed London, children were killed. When Tsarnov blew up the finish line in Boston, children were killed and maimed. When planes were crashed by Muslims on 9/11, children were killed.

When the Japanese slaughtered millions of Chinese (pre-WWII), children were killed. When the 7th Century Muslim slaughter of infidels raged for 400 years, children were killed. When the Christian Crusades of the 11th Century were sanctioned by the Pope, children were killed.

I could easily argue that you, AR15acog are a horrible human being for using the name of Jesus to justify and suggest that the slaughter of all those who believe in Him is something we just have to accept as our destiny if we believe in God. I don’t believe for one second that Jesus expects us to lay down and submit to our own slaughter, in which, by the way, Infidel children will be “murdered” by Muslims.

In war, it is one’s job to hate the enemy with such a passion that you can kill without remorse, much in the way you squash a spider. If one cannot hate with that degree of venomous will, winning a war by breaking the will of the enemy to fight would be impossible.

G.Johnon is correct. With the Muslim population mostly centered there, neutron bombs would eliminate the need to sacrifice American blood and treasure. The Army can go in after 30 days and protect the clean up crews in the major cities where all life has been eliminated but the infrastructure remains in tact, undamaged. Men, women and children die in wars. The only question is do we want them to be ours or those of the enemy.

Paraphrasing Einsten: It’s not so much evil that makes the world a dangerous place. Rather, it is those who choose to do nothing about it.

No offence guys but you might tune in to your own president and some international news occasionally.

Obama stated publicly, months ago, that the funding for ISIL was coming from inside Saudi Arabia and from Kuwaiti royalty. His comments were repeated by the heads of France, Germany, the UK and Israel just days later. The state department and UN tracked the funds thru banks in Qatar, which would explain why the Amir of the State of Qatar was at the White House recently.

    http://www.thenational.ae/world/middle-east/qatars-emir-meets-obama-in-first-visit-to-white-house

There is a reason Obama has massively increased American oil production and pushed so hard for energy independence. We have been fighting the inside battles of the House of Saud long enough. Let them use their own blood and treasure to fight their own problems. Has no one noticed how unhappy the Bush cousins are?

  • Rich Helm

This is what you get when you elect anti-war Leftists, i.e. fools who refuse to recognize and fight evil.
    —————————–
Barack Obama, like Carter, came into office promising a sharp break from past U.S foreign policy.
Troops were withdrawn from Afghanistan on pre-announced deadlines. The post-surge quiet in Iraq fooled Obama into eagerly yanking out all U.S. peacekeepers.
A new outreach to radical Islam went to ridiculous lengths.
    The defense budget was cut.
Predictable chaos followed as the U.S. became an observer abroad. The Islamic State appeared to fill the vacuum in Iraq. Syria imploded.
So did most of North Africa. Iran sent agents, surrogates and special forces into Iraq, Syria and Yemen, even as it pressed on to get a bomb. China stepped up its violations of the waters and airspace of America’s traditional Asian allies. Putin did the same in Eastern and Northern Europe.
By 2015, America’s enemies had created chaos and defined it as the new normal. The next president will face a terrible dilemma.

Democrats, not only the true big buddies of Wall Street but also cashing in big time on the military industrial complex.
Bill & Hillary, what a team of cons, he makes the million dollar speeches and in exchange she gets the government deals done.
    ——————————
According to an expose´ by David Sirota of the International Business Times, the State Department under Hillary Clinton approved a number of arms sales to foreign nations, sometimes over the objections of other allies, at the same time that the buyers put millions into the Clinton Foundation’s coffers.

The amounts involved are breathtaking. According to Sirota’s accounting from public records, the Clinton-led State Department authorized $165 billion in sales to 20 nations that donated to the foundation. State also authorized another $151 billion in “Pentagon-brokered deals” with 16 nations that coughed up cash for the family charity. Some of the defense contractors involved also donated to the foundation, and a few of them paid big money to Bill Clinton for speeches.

Sirota notes that the Clinton Foundation took cash from regimes like Saudi Arabia, Oman, Algeria, and Hamas’s diplomatic ally Qatar while approving large arms sales. Qatari cooperation against terrorism was “considered to be the worst in the region,” Hillary also declared in internal memos exposed by Wikileaks years later.

Micheal Chertoff and the x-ray machines for our airports.
      H.W.Bush China profits.
      Rumsfeild and war profits.

      That is the short list.

If you want to see the real damage that the mainstream media has done to this country, just read all of the comments by Rich Helm. This is what these brainwashing scum have done, and unfortunately they’ve done a bang up job at dividing this country. Rich, please wake up dude. Quit being a partisan zombie, you are being played for a fool. Cheerleading for Bush, but too dumb to see 9/11 was AN INSIDE JOB. Buy a clue man.

    • Rich Helm

Yes, the MSM is leftist and in league with the Left to undermine America and our freedom. And dividing our country is a primary weapon.
But to believe 9/11 was an inside job is clueless conspiracy nuttery. Stop believing conspiracy fantasies and fight America’s real enemy; Leftism of either party.
Leftism is America’s deadly progressive cancer.

“But to believe 9/11 was an inside job is clueless conspiracy nuttery.
        Stop believing conspiracy fantasies and fight America’s real enemy;
Leftism of either party.”~~~ Actually, to believe the NIST lies and cover-ups (the official lie) like you do just shows how clueless you really are. Maybe it’s not your fault, maybe you are one of the people who are not aware that there was another building that fell but was not hit by a plane (Building 7). If you do know about Building 7, and still think like you do, then I can only wonder if you are working for an agency with your divide and conquer rhetoric. If you glance through your comments, you see who’s really damaged by true conspiracy theories- you. You haven’t figured out that the fake L/R talking points (by design) are only there to confuse and distract you~~~ these politicians are all CONTROLLED. You are exactly what the establishment wants~~ someone so angry with a segment of your fellow Americans that you never look at who’s pulling your strings from behind the curtain. Unless you work for an agency~~ then, you are just trying your damnedest to maintain the illusion.

        • Rich Helm

Yeah, I’ve read all about that nonsense. If you believe such contrived conspiracy dribble could have been organized or even approved of by GW Bush, you have no clue what so ever. I have my problems with Bush but his profound love of America is NOT one of them.

          • Partisan Conspiracy Dupe

So, you believe a 47 story building can just drop at freefall speed because of “scattered office fires”? That’s what you call “conspiracy dribble”? It actually happened~~ how do you explain it? How do you explain a number of the “supposed” hijackers still being alive? How do you explain the twin towers being completely “pulverized” and falling at freefall speed, from kerosene that burned off within minutes? And in just over an hour? You are a delusional moron if you think there’s nothing to see here.

“Over 30 flavors of ice cream folks!! And today, it is your patriotic duty to go in and buy a scoop!!”

“I really like the looks of that cherry vanilla swirl, can I have a tester?”

“”You sure can!! Here you are…….”

“Thanks, that was excellent, I’ll have a scoop of that please”

“Oh no sir, you see, you can like other kinds, but today you must choose between vanilla and chocolate only.”

” But I’m bored with those flavors, and am actually sick of them both, they’ve been around forever and they are old and tired. Look at all of these other better looking options though!! Who says we can only pick between these two on this day, in our free country?”

            “The boss.”

      • carlosperdue

So is the “compassionate conservatism” of the Bush Dynasty and the neo”cons”. I wish the knuckleheads would get off the idiotic “inside job” nonsense. It serves as a smokescreen to divert attention from the fact that 911 was the denouement of 40 years of continuously accelerating intentional gross dereliction and active subversion of our most fundamental national defenses – our borders and immigration limits, criteria, and controls. Bush was every bit as responsible as Clinton and every other president since 1960. More so, since it happened on his watch and he actually accelerated the subversion continuously through his last day in office. Including rolling out the welcome prayer rug for the Tsarnevs in 2002, the year after 911, and millions of other jihadis, sympathizers and vectors, 1.6 million muslim immigrants since 911. And promoted Hasan and paid for his medical education. Then Bush used the insecurity created by his own subversion as an excuse for a Owellian “security state” suite of laws and apparatuses that would’ve made the Soviets extremely jealous, treating all Americans as terror suspects instead of doing the right thing, repelling the invasion and cutting immigration back to non-suicidal, pre-1961 levels and criteria.

  • Being human

Until people realize that there’s not much difference between Democrats and Republicans, nothing will ever change in this country. When it comes to war, they’re practically the same. Wonder what the next terrorist threats after ISIS will be?

…so whenever Pentagon employees of 15-16 years ago swear to me that No plane hit the Pentagon on 9/11( while no media pics showed even a wing, much less a fuselage near the building)….all of which parallels the fact that No plane parts were ever found near the collapsed twin Towers…..then I suppose those aren’t clues enough to get us out of the nut-bag, huh?….who’s fooling who here??

    • Michael Langley

Sorry, the engine and other parts of the planes, at the Twin Towers, were on the evening news! When making the claims you do, you become a, completely, unbelievable stooge, falling into the conspiracy theory mindset.

Let us say that ISIS really is the monster we created. Does that mean we can simply stand by while it runs amok? Are we going to sit around and watch ISIS become the Neo-Caliphate? Does anyone who is a follower of Doctor Paul have a clue about what will happen after that?
