On Sunday evening, Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) released a teaser video ahead of Tuesday’s anticipated presidential campaign announcement, which stated that “On April 7th, one leader will stand up to defeat the Washington machine and unleash the American dream.”

The video- a combination of news clips featuring political pundits making positive remarks about the Senator and clips from Paul’s speech at the 2015 Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) event- included a reference to Paul’s 2013 13-hour filibuster to delay the confirmation of John Brennan as CIA director, as well as the mention of term limits, a “fair tax”, a call to defend the “entire Bill Of Rights” and a declaration that “liberal policies have failed our inner cities.”

Paul is scheduled to officially announce his presidential candidacy on Tuesday in Kentucky before heading to New Hampshire, South Carolina, Iowa and Nevada.
