What passes for news in this country is disgraceful.

There were 2 main stories headlining CNN this morning:

• DNA Found in burglared Cabin in connection with the 2 inmates who escpaed from prison last week.
• Dylnn Roof and his racist manifeston and strangly enough the confederate flag.

The big question was; Should we remove or ban the confederate flag?

“Was Roof motivated by the Confederate flag?” they would ask. The question is rediculous. The confederate flag is no more guilty of sparking this racial attack than the Jack Daniels label is at creating an alchoholic. More implortantly, removing the Confederate flag stop one violent racist from committing the next mass killing.

So why is this news? It’s presented as though it’s on the minds of the American people. As though it’s a legitimate question. It is not. Like most news coverage from the main stream it is a distraction. As was the presidents appearance on Mark Maron’s WTF podcast.
