NASHVILLE, TN– It was an absolute success in Nashville, Tennessee. The Country Music Awards (CMAs) bring fans to Nashvegas (as we locals call it) from all over the world. After all, Nashville is the home of country music.

Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood had a surprise for the fans. Their roast of the plagued Obamacare website is going viral online. Paisley gives a nod to George Strait at the end for the song. The camera pans over to Taylor Swift for a moment, who seems shocked and confused. Nothing new for Swift.

Paisley complains of a backache and says, “Hey I think I need to see a doctor.” Underwood responds, “Hey! Do you have that Obamacare?” The two then walk over to a laptop to “sign up”.

Liberals took their angry rants to social media. One angry Obamacare supporter claims “You never mocked George Bush!” Apparently the supporter forgot about the famous Dixie Chicks incident. The country music trio hit Bush harder than any famous group dared, and paid dearly for it. Notable politicians such as Ted Cruz have even shared the video from the CMAs.

This is the type of “news story” and pettiness I expect from Reddit. This writer is awful. I’m done with this website, outside of Ben’s videos. I’m sick of reading these childish articles from Lotfi.

    • James Randall

Comedy is poking fun at reality.

    • akatom3565

That is the wonderful part of living in our great country, we can do what ever we want to do like leave.

      • budzy1911

Unless the person is a liberal then they want it banned for bing politically incorrect.

        • Tom223

Don’t forget, offensive, racist, wanting to hurt the poor, the elderly and children – oh and did I mention that it is racist to post an article about someone making fun of how Ocare is rolling out?

    • Jay

Arthur: The fact that you are offended enough to “leave this website” because of this story….. proves that you cannot tolerate hearing the truth, just like a child. Enjoy your happiness living in the dark, believing lies. Because you are part of the problem in this country. So, don’t just leave the website, please feel free to leave the country as well.

      • brentwilliams2

Hearing the truth? This is not journalism – it’s stuff that the mindless masses love to read about. It’s like you can’t even understand the words he wrote. He never said he was offended. Not seeing a pointless article about the CMA’s is in no way leaving him “in the dark”. The comments on this site are atrocious.

      • r3VOLution IS NOT republican

Truth? Does the reporting acknowledge the “truth” about Paisley SHILLING for Obama… EVEN TO THE POINT OF SAYING “God bless this president?”

        Why not?

    • Dude

Not all reporting is perfect. Expect to see articles like these on other news sites.

      • brentwilliams2

Ben Swann’s site was SUPPOSED to be different though – how can you rationalize this stuff by saying other news sites put out similar things?

        • r3VOLution IS NOT republican

You can’t. But REPUBLICANS (who POSE as “liberty” folks, in order to CO-OPT another movement) will ALWAYS concoct a zillion excuses to justify REPUBLICAN propaganda.

        • Dude

Until Ben has the time to personally write article after article this is what we get.

          • brentwilliams2

Ben is still in charge of this site – he sets the culture and trends of what type of content is to be shared. People keep acting as if he is not involved, but he has to be…

    • Tom223

News has been for the longest time a form of entertainment. Based on the number of people who make comments, Lotfi may be the most popular contributor besides Ben.
Preferably, the news would be used to inform so people can make educated decisions about important events in life.

  • Damon W Wilson

    its pretty funny…

I mean, its a joke, but its not funny, all at the same time.

  • Kathy Ibberson

Late night shows are making jokes about it also, so what’s the problem? Guess because it was in prime time and probably more people saw it!!

  • r3VOLution IS NOT republican

    Wait… I’m confused…

So… when OBAMA-SHILL Brad Paisley… said “God bless our president” after PERFORMING at King Soetoro’s recrowning… did he NOT realize… what Robertscare (formerly Obamacare) was?

    This gossip-rag garbage is… alt-media journalism?

    • Tom223

In this case it is purely entertainment.

      • r3VOLution IS NOT republican

        False. It’s republican propaganda.

    • Klaatu Fabrice Aquinas

Agreed. Swan needs to spend some time at Veterans Today. Took a gander at real ninja-journalism.

A lot of the people there are former intel ops. Some, still are active, or know active ops personnel. Take a look at their executive board, and editorial staff. Peruse their resumes.

One is former Pakistani ISI. Another is former Spetnaz. Another is former DOE, Marine officer, and nuke expert. Another is former U.S. State Dept. and attache to the U.S. Navy. One was the Inspector General of the DoD under Reagan, slated to be the next Sec. of Def. post Weinberger. One is a former IDF officer, with nuclear security clearance, targeted at present by Mossad and Shin Bet.

So yeah, comparatively, Swann and Co. does need to grow a pair. Even Alex Jones & Co. compared to VT still needs to refine their cojones.

If Swann could gather the metal to contact Reagan’s former National Intel Chief (and he is available), then he is beginning to improve in my book. Until then, we are just in kindergarten, eating our milk and cookies. I like my [raw] milk and cookies. However, we need some hard liquor here.

  • budzy1911

So every other Liberal show that mocks conservatives is ok but you mock their messiah and they want you thrown in to a re-education camp until you praise the collective.

All humor is rooted in the truth and obviously their religion – progressive governement – is the current joke because it always fails.

    • Tom223

      So True.
Bottom line is liberals need conservatives to survive. Conservatives don’t need liberals. Liberals, just like communists rely on the production of others for their own survival. Redistribution is nothing more than involuntary servitude and slavery.

  • brentwilliams2

This is the hard-hitting news that I was hoping for when I donated to Ben’s endeavor. I just got the shirt yesterday – should I give it away?

    • Tom223

It may be that they were only talking about the articles that Ben does himself. The rest of this facilitates people coming to the site each day.

      • brentwilliams2

The problem is that the website is named after Ben, so even if he didn’t write them, it looks very bad for him. Also, these sensationalistic articles just undermine his goal of establishing himself as a legitimate national journalist to be taken seriously.

        • oicu812a

High-profile, public mockery of the emperor and the warfare-welfare state is newsworthy — and encouraging! — in this locale.

  • Patricia

I find it refreshing that those in the entertainment industry have finally found their voice against Obama and his Communist regime. That is what has been lacking in this country, entertainers that are wiling to put their careers on the line and do the right thing for the American people. Perhaps with their voices finally added to ours, we can get this farce of a President Impeached along with all of those he has appointed removed from their offices as well!

    • r3VOLution IS NOT republican

Hmmm… my voice is directed toward restoring Constitutional Liberty – which involves removing the WHOLE LEFTIST republican/democrat (same thing) party.

      • Tom223

Vote for anyone but the establishment Democrat or Republican – It’s the only hope of turning this mess around.

        • r3VOLution IS NOT republican

Actually no. NO MORE republicans/democrats (same thing). NONE!

    • Tom223

I can’t wait to hear about how the CMA’s are racist for that bit of satire.

  • James

Not quite. Trying to say that the Dixie Chicks rant against Bush was the same level as this is not even close. If the Dixie Chicks tried that comment at the CMAs, they would have been crucified. So yes, that liberal was correct. The CMAs and the rest of the country music world (including fans) never made fun of Bush or his decision to start some BS wars.

    • Tom223

The Dixie Chicks badmouthed Bush on foreign soil rather than do it here – a bit cowardly.

    • Tom223

The CMA’s appear to go along with public opinion. When Bush took us to war it was approved as a bipartisan measure in Congress. The majority of the American public was in favor. In this case Obama has fallen to a 40% approval rating. The majority of Americans did not want Obamacare, The vote to pass Ocare was partisan. The bipartisan vote was against Obamacare. It is currently a failure as Obama clearly lied about the legislation and he lied to get reelected. Had Ocare been fully implemented before the last election there is no way he would be the president now.

  • Tom223

This goes to show just how thin skinned liberals are. The Obama administration spent hundreds of millions on a website that did not work. It is completely legitimate to apply humorous satire to that situation. The fact that liberals continue to defend Obama and this destructive health care reduction and cost increase act. It also shows that a liberal can never admit to making a mistake in voting for a destructive politician.
Michael Savage is probably the most accurate in stating that Liberalism is a suicidal mental disorder. Over and over again they vote for politicians who want to take away their individual liberty, politicians who pass any legislation that will reward non-production and penalize production, politicians who continually make nothing of the individual and everything of the government.

  • zg

    ha ha ha, nicee…

  • BigBlueBalls

When it comes down to it. This whole Obamacare fiasco really gets people mind off of foreign policy, which is the big problem. This is small potatoes in comparison.

    • Rework Oh Ryan

Yeah, we do have bigger problems. Just that this one would be the easiest to address, since it’s currently only partially implemented.

      • Skrilla Mcskrillerson

As long as they stop pretending that the only option is to defund and destroy the law entirely. How about just the one or two provisions we all disagree with, instead of the parts that force insurance companies to pay for the treatment of those who are insured instead of deny them for “experimental” reasons. Obamacare sucks, but so was the way that it was before the ACA.

        • RogueR

Yeah, I’m game for making it better. Perhaps they should’ve let us shoot these holes in it, before they passed it. They could’ve gotten a lot of great insight from across the aisle.

    • Don’t be a Dick Morris

Its all part of the same big Socially engineered problem.

  • oicu812a

Obama supporters are not “liberals.” If anything, they are “progressives” (prog-statists), “leftists,” etc. Let’s not fall in line with the corruption and utter inversion of language. Mises, Bastiat, and Hazlitt were liberals by true definition. Excellent write-up, nonetheless.

  • B

And apparently you forgot about the HUGE backlash country music gave the Dixie Chicks when they spoke out.

  • noche

Mocking and crtiicizing are 2 different things. Also, Dont think some one is going to threaten their lives for this ruse. Dixie Chicks spoke their mind, these two read their lines.

  • Hortense

Uhhhh, Brad and Carrie were NOT mocking Obamacare. They were mocking the POS website.

  • waffles

Brad voted for Barry so what’s the big deal?

  • Edward Mott

About Obamacare, I really have 1 thing to say. Come see me at tax season and let me know just how affordable it’s not. Enjoy it, because once that nutter gets booted out of office it’s gonna disappear.

  • Paul Revere

LOL. Seriously though the criminal Obama administrations attempts to socialize this country are so desperate that it is almost comical. The attempted purge of the our US military will ultimately be their undoing. Unfortunately the convictions to come and the harsh sentencing of those collaborators that cry out will not be a time of revelry for the people of the US. The sad cries of “We were only following orders” before sentencing will be a sad day for patriots that do what must be done. For them it will work about as good as it did in Nuremburg, and for us it will be akin to the trauma of what must be done when bitten by a rattle snake in middle if no where. you lose part of yourself.
